    Virtual Teaching for Students of Color

    California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) is inviting educators to join the Virtual Teaching for Students of Color live event on May 15th, 2020 at 1:00pm PST. The event features Dr. Bryan Brown, associate professor at Stanford University. Dr. Brown will teach you how to make sure culturally relevant practices make their way home. The event is perfect for Teachers, Para-Ed Professionals, School- and District- Administrators and Leaders.

    The California Association of African-American Superintendents and Administrators (CAAASA) and the University of California Los Angeles Center for the Transformation of Schools (CTS) have collaborated to develop a free, online series of events. Educational inequities are being exacerbated in the wake of the COVID-19 school closures. CAAASA and UCLA CTS events provide families and educators with tools and strategies necessary to enhance equity in the virtual learning space.

    Everyday Science for K-12 Students

    California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) is inviting educators to join the Everyday Science for K-12 Students live event on May 13th, 2020 at 1:00pm PST. The event features educational consultant and neuroscientist Ken Wesson in a conversation with parents, teachers, and para-ed professionals. Ken will teach you how to teach students science using items and activities in your own household.
